RE Ordered World (2022)

Présélectionnée pour le CIRCA Prize 2022, l’œuvre s’inspire du mythe de la boîte de Pandore et de l’idée qu’après que tout s’est échappé dans le monde, l’Espérance demeure.

Construit autour d’un lexique évolutif de mots commençant par le préfixe re- — de révolution, remède et révélation à renaissance, reconnexion et mémoire — le projet explore le langage comme un outil pour repenser notre réalité commune. Des voix d’horizons divers se réunissent autour de mots, de phrases et d’affirmations qui s’accumulent progressivement pour former une incantation collective. Chaque voix apporte un fragment à une proposition plus vaste, faisant du langage un espace de participation, de résonance et de possibles.

À la croisée de la poésie et du manifeste, RE Ordered World nous invite à reconsidérer ce qui peut être réparé, réimaginé et réinventé. L’œuvre propose un nouvel ordre du monde non comme un idéal figé, mais comme un processus collectif, fondé sur la reconnexion, la guérison, le renouveau et la possibilité d’une transformation.

Pre-selected for the CIRCA Prize 2022, the work draws inspiration from the myth of Pandora’s Box and the idea that, after everything else has escaped into the world, Hope remains.

Built around an expanding lexicon of words beginning with the prefix re- — from revolution, remedy and revelation to rebirth, reconnect and remember — the video explores language as a tool for rethinking our shared reality. Voices from different backgrounds come together through individual words, phrases and affirmations, gradually accumulating into a collective incantation. Each voice contributes a fragment to a larger proposition, transforming language into a space of participation, resonance and possibility.

Moving between poetry and manifesto, RE Ordered World invites us to reconsider what can be repaired, reimagined and made anew. It proposes a new world order not as a fixed ideal, but as a collective process rooted in reconnection, healing, renewal and the possibility of transformation.
